Pet peeve – contact pages with nothing but a contact form.

That’s right. No address. No phone number. No email. No map. Nothing.

Give me something to know you are legit.

By simply updating your contact page to include an address, phone number and a photo (you can keep the contact form, if you don’t want to share an email address), it proves that you are a real business and that my efforts to reach out and contact you are worth it.

It’s also a great spot to include a link to your Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn profile(s).

A contact page with nothing but a form is impersonal and not very trustworthy.

We just updated ours.

Our contact page has a map, a quick explanation of where our office is to those who may be visiting, an address, phone, email and social networking profiles.

It’s a simple, yet important, update.
